• Meet the Speakers •
Judith was elected Green Party of Ontario Deputy Leader in May of 2012. During the 2011 election, she ran as the GPO candidate in the riding of St. Paul's. Following the election, she was appointed to the role of Women's Issues Critic and provided a critical eye to the policies most affecting the women of Ontario. With a focus on connecting individuals to their communities, Judith believes in delivering a government that reflects people’s values and promoting proactive health solutions for everyone.
Dave is a Toronto-based artist and organizer, with a focus on public space issues, cycling infrastructure, voting reform, transpartisan advocacy and democratic renewal. He has founded the Toronto Cyclists Union, created the Ranked Ballot Initiative, and recently curated the Fourth Wall exhibit on transforming local politics in Toronto. Dave embraces ideas and projects that cut across traditional boundaries between grassroots politics, electoral politics and the arts community. In his work, he attempts to weave elements of these communities together.
Tom is a global thought leader with a recognized record of extraordinary achievement in the promotion of a low carbon economy. A green entrepreneur, investor, advisor, public speaker, and author, Rand’s ambition is to help bring clean technology to life. Currently Rand is the Cleantech Lead Advisor at MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, where he helps the next generation of cleantech companies grow to global leadership.
Walt is vice chairman of MasterCard Worldwide. In this capacity, he is responsible for various senior client and government relationships - engaging these important stakeholders on key issues related to the ever-changing payments industry.
