Steven Toman

Steven Toman currently lives in Ajax. Born in Windsor and raised in Kincardine Ontario, Steven attended Pickering High School. He began his post secondary education at Laurentian University and finished his undergraduate Studies at the University of Toronto, graduating with a Bachelors degree in Politics and City Studies. His hobbies include Kayaking, Camping, Tennis, Squash, Skiing, Gourmet Dining, Travelling, and walking his dog.

Steven first became involved with the Green Party of Ontario (GPO) by creating a Green Party Campus Group at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus and then a Constituency Association in Ajax Pickering. Steven ran for the GPO in the Scarborough Rouge River By-Election in 2009. He later joined the Shadow Cabinet as the volunteer issue advocate for both the Attorney General's Office and later Transportation policy.

Steven has worked as a Real Estate agent since 2010 after attending Law School in Windsor Ontario. He has always been active in the communities in which he lived. Steven was a Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Staff Liaison for Ontario Public Research Group (OPIRG) Windsor and has been an active member of various cultural and environmental charity groups.

Steven's top priorities are to create jobs and to better support small and innovative businesses. He wants to improve urban quality of life through sustainable cities with better public transit, more parkland etc, all the while ensuring that personal freedoms and privacy are protected and expanded. Steven will be a strong leader and representative for Ajax-Pickering.
