Glenn Kitchen was born and raised in East York, where he learned the value of democracy by growing up in a household of seven boys. A father of two grown children, he has lived in Scarborough since getting married for 28 years ago.

A licensed carpenter, Glenn has worked on numerous landmark buildings in and around Toronto. He is also a certified worker for health and safety, and has sat on numerous workplace health and safety committees.
