Liz Couture is an active member of the community who has volunteered for the Town of Richmond Hill, Parks and Recreation, for Arts Richmond Hill, the Richmond Hill Lawn Tennis Club, Bayview Hills Public School via Big Brothers of York Region, and Bayview Glen Missionary Alliance Church. She enjoys meeting people of all cultures and backgrounds.

Currently a self-employed music teacher, Liz has experience in businesses big and small, from flea market booth operator and tennis instructor to corporate trainer and part owner of a franchise to programmer/analyst for a large bank and a benefits administrator for a large electronics manufacturing firm.

Liz has studied business at Ryerson P.I., music at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto, and holistic health at the Transformational Arts College in Toronto. She and her husband Terry are 17-year residents of Richmond Hill. She is President of the Richmond Hill Constituency Association, and one of two Central Region Representatives on the Green Party of Ontario Executive Council.
Her interests include reading, swimming, and dog walking.
