Victoria Serda is an elected Municipal Councillor in Saugeen Shores, as well as Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Ontario. She lives with her husband Jamie and daughter Corrina in Port Elgin. She was born and raised in the Owen Sound area, and has family living in Bruce, Grey and Simcoe counties. Victoria holds a bachelor's degree specializing in Education from the University of Waterloo, has been employed as a private school teacher, and now enjoys home schooling her daughter.

Victoria is one of only six people in Ontario who is trained by Al Gore to give his Inconvenient Truth climate change presentation, and has completed 55 presentations to more than 5,000 people across the province this year.

Community participation is a priority to Victoria. She is a co-founder of the Green Horizons environmental group, and a member of the Creating Community Network and the Lake Huron Learning Collaborative. She has experience in the areas of: environment, disabilities, music theatre, non-violent communication, democracy in education, and organic farming.
