Jessica Fracassi, 29, has been involved with the Green Party of Ontario since 2002. Following graduation from Cardinal Carter High School in Aurora, Ontario she attended York University where she earned a Bachelor in Environmental Studies degree with a minor in Political Science. The topic of her major undergraduate paper was the Green Party of Ontario which led her to meet for the first time Leader Frank de Jong. From that time, she became involved with the party which has given her the opportunity to travel around the province. She has attended various Green Party general meetings, policy conferences, local founding and nomination meetings over the years allowing her to meet many of the wonderful members and volunteers of the party.

Jessica has also worked for an environmental non-governmental organization advocating for the phase out of coal power in Ontario.

Some of the key issues for Jessica include establishing a fully renewable electricity system in Ontario, addressing climate change and moving towards a more proportional electoral voting system.

She lives in Toronto with her partner Jeff and their dog.
