Volunteering in the Green Party of Ontario
The Green Party of Ontario has an organizational structure based on 3 teams – membership, money and message. See below for more information on each team, as well as information on how to get more involved
Membership Team Volunteer:
The membership pillar in the Green Party of Ontario works on connecting people to the Green movement! This may involve helping to run events, calling people to get them involved, running a Community Engagement Program, or perhaps starting a Constituency Association in your area.
If you are interested in volunteering on the membership team, fill out the online volunteer form here, or contact Membership Team Director Robert Routledge at volunteer@gpo.ca.
Money Team Volunteer:
We’re changing the paradigm on fundraising for politics. We believe the Green party represents a movement towards a form of sustainable leadership where real people are telling elected officials how they want to be represented in Queen’s Park. Donating money to the Green Party is the best way to invest in this opportunity, as every cent we take in goes to increasing the effectiveness of our message and getting more people involved.
If you are interested in volunteering on the money team, fill out the online volunteer form here, or contact the Director of Fundraising Craig Cantin at volunteer@gpo.ca.
Messaging Team Volunteer
The Green Party of Ontario is working to do two things: Involve people in a better style of community leadership and talk about the specific kinds of change we would like to see happen. The messaging pillar of our party is responsible for crafting and delivering our Party’s message! If you have an interest in distilling and communicating policy, this is the area for you.
If you are interested in volunteering on the Message team, fill out the online volunteer form here, or contact Message Team Director Darcy Higgins at volunteer@gpo.ca.
