Toronto Regional Champions Campaign - to increase women's participation in municipal government!

Now accepting applications from women aged 19-26 for the 2009-2010 session. The deadline for submissions is Monday September 14, 2009.

The Toronto Regional Champion Campaign is a mentoring and education program that connects young women with Toronto's women Councillors. In an effort to increase women's participation in municipal politics, the program aims to inspire and familiarize young women with the job of a municipal councillor.

This mentoring program offers hands-on experience with a woman Councillor in Toronto's municipal government. Participants will gain insight into the work and experiences of a woman Councillor. For more information, click here: http://pammcconnell.ca/fcm/toronto_campaign/
