Social Media Coordinator

Description:

The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with members of the External Communications Team to develop a plan and coordinate a team of volunteers to undertake a social media strategy.

Requirements:
  • Conduct and assessment of the current GPO use of social media, and evaluate the current approach for a social media strategy staring point.
  • Develop a detailed plan for 2010 based on the social media goals outlined in the Party's annual plan.
  • Recruit and manage volunteers and a host of web-users to initiate a social media plan for the GPO.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, demonstrated management and leadership skills.
  • Background working in association or committee decision-making formats.
  • Experience in Social Media.
  • Experience with internet analytics tools for success tracking/measurement.
  • Project management experience preferred.

Time Commitment: 3-5 hours/week (approx).
