Luke Macmichael
Luke Macmichael is a Graduate of Queen’s University’s Computer Engineering Program and is currently a Senior Analyst Programmer for the IT Department at Essar Steel Algoma Inc. He has lived in Sault St. Marie for most of his life, and he would be proud to represent his community at Queen’s Park this fall.
As the Current Chair of Clean North he has been actively engaged in many environmental projects and initiatives in Sault Ste. Marie including Christmas Tree Chipping, Community Gardens, and various presentations on sustainable living to many audiences across the city. Prior to university he served as a full-time missionary in Hokkaido, Japan for a period of two years.
A husband and father of 4 young children with a 5th on the way, he is very passionate about making a difference in our current political setting to protect our Natural Resources and create a sustainable economic system where we can all prosper together.
