Keith Foster is an electrical and controls engineer who works for an electrical utility company in Mississauga. He has had the unique opportunity to gain experience and exposure to the electricity industry all across Canada and sees the real potential that Ontario has in becoming a leader and innovator in the fields of efficient and environmentally friendly energy management. A strong advocate of both conservation and community owned renewable resources; he is looking foward to bringing his ideas and experience to Queen’s Park.

Through his work and studies, he has seen firsthand how Ontario’s current green initiative, although crafted with good intentions, fails to deliver any real benefit to taxpayers who are subsidizing the program. Keith decided it was time for a change. Time for a party that would put environmental policy on equal footing with fiscal responsibility. It is time to put the future before the present, and communities before corporations. It’s time for the Green Party of Ontario.

Keith holds a bachelor's degree of electrical engineering from McGill University and is currently studying towards a master's degree in electrical power engineering from the University of Waterloo. In addition, he has completed the first level of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute test and keeps current in the fields of finance and economics.

In his spare time Keith enjoys many physical activities. An avid hockey enthusiast, he plays year round and is always looking for a good game of shinny whenever the weather permits. He also enjoys participating and raising money for local charities for various long distance running events. The social sports of dragon boating and golfing are also among his favourites.
