Justin Blake

Justin Blake is a musician and lover of the arts, the environment, and his community. He was born and raised in Haldimand-Norfolk and wants to use this election to give back to the community that has provided so many opportunities for him. He believes that the Green Party platform is exactly what this riding needs and that we can be a leader in green energy and local, sustainable food.

Justin was active in the arts during high school, including being a part of a winning production at the Sears Drama Festival held in Brantford. He then enrolled in Mohawk College Applied Music receiving instruction from some of the most talented musicians in the country. He also supported the efforts of Steeltown Friends of Mohawk Music, an organization dedicated to arts education in the city of Hamilton.

After voting Green, then becoming a Green Party Member, Justin still wasn’t satisfied that he was doing enough. As the election drew close he is taking it upon himself to represent values of community, the environment, and social justice that the Green Party upholds. He wants people to realize they hold these values as well; they have simply to act on them.
