Kyle Jones

Kyle Jones, 27, was born in Kingston Ontario and raised in the rural area of Devil Lake Ontario. Kyle is a Practical Nursing graduate of St. Lawrence College and is currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health Sciences at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Kyle has been a mentor for a nursing student.

Having spent the last two years of his career working in the mental health field, and four years prior to that working in the Long Term Care field, Kyle has seen first hand the demands and challenges that Ontario’s health care system is faced with.

Kyle is concerned that his generation is going to be faced with tough challenges in providing communities with healthy food, affordable living and quality healthcare. That is one reason that Kyle is such a strong supporter of green initiatives. As a member of a small community and having grown up in a rural area, Kyle recognizes the need to support economic growth in our communities and to move toward a more localized economy.

Kyle believes strongly in the need for a truly democratic, accountable and transparent government that supports individual rights and freedom of expression. Kyle plans to take his values to Queens Park and represent the Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke riding as a truly honest and responsible MPP.

In his spare time Kyle is actively involved in sports including Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee and yoga.
