Louis Fliss is a Senior Chiropodist (foot specialist) and has worked at the Flemingdon Health Centre for the past twenty-two years. He has lived in the GTA his entire life, seven of them in the riding of Don Valley West, where he is running as a Green candidate in the upcoming Provincial election.

Louis has implemented some most innovative client-centered practices at the centre. He has extensive knowledge of provincial health programs and is presently responsible for preparing the centre’s compliance in client disability legislation.

Louis doesn’t see a separation between family health issues and environmental issues. That’s why Louis has been a passionate advocate for healthy, liveable, and recreation-friendly neighbourhoods for years. He has been influential in promoting active transport between the Evergreen Brick Works and his community. Louis has been active in other initiatives such as Don Trails and the Metrolinx/Transit City Eglinton LRT. He helped to complete a report on Thorncliffe and Flemingdon Parks, these parks border on an important ravine in his neighbourhood. Louis was recently invited to represent Flemingdon Park on CBC morning radio.

Louis is a former Can-Bike safety instructor and feels comfortable taking family and friends cycling. Also a great nature lover he enjoys hiking the great ravines of the city and other wonderful Ontario preserves. Louis has two boys, Jordan and Jonathan.

Louis loves talking to people about the challenges facing our world, hearing their concerns, and sharing the long-term solutions that the Green Party offers. He would be pleased to represent the people of his riding at Queens Park.
