Peace Gathering III

I hold a weekly peace gathering every Sunday at south side park in Woodstock Ontario. I have a group on Facebook named "Irenic Bracelets". The purpose of my gathering is to make hemp bracelets with little notes attached reading, "When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace. Pay the goodness forward. You are worthy." During the gatherings held we talk about world or community issues and ways we take action to help and just the simplicity of distributing the bracelets to open peoples eyes to love one another is very important to me. Because I think the media is tearing us apart from one another. Teaching people to be materialistic. To bully. To fight. I want to try and erase that. Or even mend it. That is my purpose. I recently took a road trip from Ontario to British Columbia handing out my bracelets and got such a good response that I came up with the idea of a weekly peace gathering. And am hoping this will influence other people in different cities and towns to do the same.
