It's an exciting time to be Green in Ontario!
Last weekend, we concluded our successful Annual Policy Convention in London where a bold future direction for our party began to take shape.
This began with the election of Mike Schreiner as the new leader of the Green Party of Ontario!

APC 2009 Speaker: David Scrymgeour has been CFO of the Party since 2007 … during that time we have run at a surplus and saved $25,000 towards the next election. Filings with Elections Ontario have been submitted on time and approved.

APC 2009 speaker. Elizabeth May has a long record as a committed and dedicated advocate — for social justice, for the environment, for human rights, and for economic pragmatic solutions. She is an environmentalist, writer, activist and lawyer active in the environmental movement since 1970.

Eleanor McMahon, Founder Share the Road Cycling Coalition 04.11.2009
APC 2009 speaker. Eleanor McMahon is a communications and marketing professional with over 20 years experience. Ms. McMahon’s work includes senior corporate communications and marketing roles in the private, public and non-for profit sectors. She spent the early part of her career on Parliament Hill in roles of increasing responsibility including that of Press Secretary to the Right Honorable Jean Chrétien.

APC 2009 Speaker. Mark Persaud has been involved with Canada's diverse cultural communities for over two decades in a variety of capacities including as an advocate, a political organizer and a community leader. In this workshop he will explore some of the nuances of engaging Canada's diverse communities in the political process drawing upon his extensive experience working with various communities.
