Be Real Campaign Theme

29.08.2007 - 21:00

In this election, the citizens of Ontario will have the opportunity to choose between two very different futures: A continuation of the status quo or a future that is clean, green and completely sustainable.

At the beginning of every century, the task of planning for the next 100 years falls to the generations that are alive at that time. In Ontario, this task falls to us. In this election, the citizens of Ontario will have the opportunity to choose between two very different futures: A continuation of the status quo or a future that is clean, green and completely sustainable.

For more than 20 years, the Green Party of Ontario has been advocating for a more pristine, healthier Ontario, an Ontario that is strong in mind (people), body (economy) and spirit (health), a province that is fair and just and that exists in balance with nature.

The issues that concern us are issues that concern everyone. Real issues like clean air, clean water and safe food. Issue like spending more time with our families, not having to worry about finding a job, housing, or reliable healthcare and electricity.

The Green Party seeks to create a sustainable society in Ontario that can lead Canada through the 21st Century and beyond.

Unlike the other political parties in Ontario, the Green Party believes these issues must be addressed immediately. The Green Party is offering solutions that are practical, innovative and, best of all, realistic. We believe prosperity can best be achieved if we embrace our diversity and build an inclusive environment that allows all Ontarians to work together for the benefit of everyone. If we are to overcome the challenges now posed by climate change, globalization, a looming energy crisis and an aging economy, we must put our differences aside and work together.

The Green Party is ready to play its part to build a sustainable society and improve the quality of life for all Ontarians. We have real answers to address the real issues that we all face every day.

Please take the time to learn more about us by surfing our website. We think you’ll like what you see.

On October 10th, vote Green… because there is only one green party if you want REAL change.
